The Filipino-American Association of AZ (FAAAZ) performed the Polkabal and La Jota Mocadenia to military and civilian personnel at Luke Air Force Base in celebration of the Asian Pacific Heritage month, 30 May 2007. Col Orr, Vice Commander and host of the luncheon event said: "it gets better and better each year." Each year, members of FAAAZ promotes cultural awareness through cultural presentations to over 6K personnel currently stationed here in AZ.

Alma de Garriz put together a wonderful one-hour cultural program and invited local groups in the community.
